In the old days, it was said that dragonflies would seek out bad kids and sew their mouths together with their claspers while they slept - they were known as the devil's darning needles. They also have 30,000 lenses on their eyes which might be why in Buddhism they represent our ability to see new perspectives and move past restrictions. I can see the restriction to having my mouth sewn up so I am being extra good from now on. At least around swamps.

To me the idea of floral cotton jersey bike shorts is confusing. A year or two ago I would have thought them an abomination. Now, under the influence of my firned Short 'n' Loose, I can see the appeal. But how did it happen? Will I also start appreciating carb-free food and the gym? Heaven help me.

I like super flat shoes. I like straps. I like Swedes. Yet for some reason I'm not 100% on these sandals. I have a feeling if I get them it's going to be like the time I decided to slide across a room wearing empty tissue boxes for shoes and ended up spraining my ankle.
